Imagine Learning is a great resource for our students who are developing their English language and literacy skills. The program addresses a multitude of skills for reading foundations and comprehension. Check with your child’s teacher to learn if your child has an Imagine Learning account. Our 2nd-6th grade students have the opportunity to read online a variety topics related to the world around them. Upon reading a topic of interest students will have the opportunity to practice their technology enhanced tools on the computer and share their understanding of the text through a series of comprehension questions. The best part about the program is that it is targeted to each individual student’s reading level. This is a great tool for independent reading!
This year we are supporting all our students will access to the online math tool of TenMarks. Your child’s classroom teacher is able to provide assignments and practice to meet each student’s individual needs. The program is a Common Core Standards aligned program that is presented in an online format. Students can build their skills in mathematics, while engaging in technology-enhanced tools to solve math problems. Do you want to learn more about the new nation-wide end of year testing? There are current practice tests for math and English Language Arts available for students, teachers, and parents.
