Please let your friends and neighbors know that kindergarten registration packets will be available for pick up on Wednesday, February 7th. Kindergarten Registration packets will be accepted on Wednesday, February 21st.  Please feel free to contact us if you have any questions regarding registration for the 2018 -2019 school year.

Welcoming Schools Parent Informational Meeting

We are excited to share our plan to bring the “Welcoming Schools” program to Camarena. “Welcoming Schools” is a professional development program providing training and resources to elementary school educators to welcome diverse families, create LGBTQ and gender inclusive schools, prevent bias-based bullying, and support transgender and non-binary students. Over the next two years, our staff will be receiving professional development designed to help us make our schools and our community better for the students and families we serve.

We hope you will join us for a parent information session that we have planned for Thursday, January 18th at 6:30 pm in our Multi-Purpose Room so that you can learn more about this program.

Spelling Bee

Good luck to all our spelling bee participants who will be competing on Saturday at Camarena. The winner for each grade-level will move on to the District Spelling Bee on February 3, 2018.
