For the second year, Otay Ranch Town Center is seeking nominations for a top notch teacher in our community. The winning teacher will receive a $500 mall gift card for National Teacher Day – Tuesday, May 6th.
Celebrate Teachers! will be recognize and showcase the dedication of our best educators and strengthens the mall’s commitment to local schools.
Teachers can be nominated on the mall’s Facebook page from March 13 to 24. The teacher receiving the most votes on the mall’s Facebook page will receive a $500 mall gift card on National Teacher Day. Votes can be cast from April 10-22 at

Anyone 13 and older can nominate any teacher meeting the following criteria:
- Part-time or Full-time, state-licensed teacher
- Working in a Pre-K to 12 non-profit school (public or private)
- School must be within 75 miles of a GGP mall
- Self-nomination is permitted
- A parent can nominate a teacher for students under 13

Here are the hours for the Book Fair this week which will be in the Multi-Purpose Room:
Monday through Wednesday: 7:45 AM – 9:00 AM, 2:30 PM – 3:45 PM
Thursday = 7:45 AM – 3:00 PM
Cash, Credit Card only. No checks!
Minecraft Book: Due to issues beyond our control this book will be available for Pre-order only. Cost is %$5.99 plus tax. The child will receive the book after Spring Break. Come join the fun and pick up some great books.
Wait… don’t delete this post right away. You can make a difference in a very simple way and we’ve got an offer to boot!. Our next book fair is next week. We are in need of parent volunteers. PTA would like to offer the following:
For every hour a parent volunteers, the classroom teacher will earn $5 per hour towards any book purchase. This means more books for all of our students. Here is the schedule:
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday – all regular schedule days
Morning hours 7:45 to 9:00
Afternoon hours2:30 to 3:45
Thursday – minimum schedule
ALL DAY, 7:45 to 3:00.
