 Safety Committee Updated Procedure

Our Safety Committee recently met to discuss some concerns around campus and we have come up with some new guidelines that we will institute right away.  Here is one modification you can remind your children about.

Walking and Devices: We encourage students to bring devices to school as they are very useful to support learning, however we will expect the following behaviors.

1. When students are dismissed from their lines in the morning, they will need to pack up all devices in their backpack or pockets.

2. Devices must be put away whenever students are walking around campus (Basically no texting and walking)

Gallery of Experts Day (May 26) and Times

The academic highlight of each semester here at Camarena is our Gallery of Experts where every student from TK to 6th grade presents a project to demonstrate their best work to date. Our goal is to give every child an opportunity to present their learning to classmates, parents, and a wider audience.

We hope you will put this date on your calendar and come during your  child’s grade level program to not only see your child’s great work, but enjoy and appreciate the work of students in other classes as well.  Here is the schedule for the big day of May 26.
